I have a few old favourites like the B4, but recently getting into the sounds of the Imageline Toxic III http://www.imageline.com/documents/toxiciii.html
It's relatively easy to edit too which is nice. Some plugins like Absynth are great sounding but seem way too complicated to go far beyond presets... _________________ http://www.etherealise.net/ |

The Thor synthesizer in Reason though not a VST and then Absynth ... !
Absynth to me can be as simple or complicated as you program it. It can behave as a " normal " subtractive synth but also as something far beyond hardware synthesizers. |
